The Lakes Signature

Another excellent release from The Lakes Distillery, set in the heart of the Lake District. This marks the first whisky in their developing core range, and as you’d expect from a sherry-led distillery, it’s bursting with rich, classic sherry character. Borrowing techniques from winemaking, The Lakes use élevage, a hands-on process where the whisky is regularly tasted and re-racked or adjusted to shape its final profile. The result is a sweet and floral dram, full of bright, lively flavours like apple and orange peel, layered over deep sherry warmth. A solid whisky from a distillery that continues to impress — definitely one to watch.
